Hand made by plastic manufacturing experts, then printed in-house, these are our imitation acrylic Beeb function strips.
The original Acorn parts were injection moulded/cast which due to cost restraints, we've not been able to accomplish. Instead, what we have for sale here are modern laser cut and hand finished and look visually similar to the original parts. This method of manufacture means that the speaker grill at the left hand side does not have the original's draft angle (which made it removable from the mould) and the locating lugs are securely glued in place.
These strips have then been hand printed by myself with the original design. We offer both the newer revision 2 "BRITISH BROADCASTING CORPORATION MICROCOMPUTER SYSTEM" and original "BBC microcomputer" styles here, please make sure you select the correct variant from the dropdown next to the "Add to Cart" button. These are 'A' quality, with barely perceptible (if any) blemishes, in line with being a hand made product.
